Walk It Out!

This move to Cali has taken a lot out of us. Sorry we have been away for so long.

Well, Madison has been walking for about a month now and we were finally able to get it on camera. Enjoy!

Cell Shocker

While me and a friend were on our way to the grocery store yesterday, I made a startling discovery. I was on my cell phone, while driving, having a great conversation. My friend yelled, "Cop, Cop!" I'm like, "okay, I'm not speeding so what's up?" She said, "put the phone down, you will get a ticket while talking on your cell phone and driving." Of course, she explained everything after the phone was plainly out of sight. I guess it is a good law to have enacted in California. I did notice not many drivers were distracted and it seems like traffic flowed a little smoother. Maybe, I'll take that back to Georgia when we move back. Hint, hint....

"Good Hair"

In honor of Chris Rock's movie Good Hair, I, Madison A. R. Carrington, have decided to go NATURAL! For all of you ladies out there who wish to join me in looking society in the face and shouting; "I control what's considered socially acceptable, not you" or simply "You're not the boss of me", then follow these 3 steps and it will lead you back to natural.

1. It all starts with a good wash...

2. Then, a couple of pain staking hours at the salon

3. Finally, don't be afraid to get creative and style to your liking

Give thanks!

Today, I am thankful for being alive and in good health. Madison had me and Kevin scared earlier this week, but she's fine per her pediatrician. I'm thankful that I am an Aunt again. Ava Alana Wedderburn was born in Japan last night and she's a whopping 6 lbs. 14 oz. I am thankful for a wonderful and supportive husband who loves me unconditionally. I'm thankful for my amazing family and friends. I'm thankful for grace and mercy that God gives me Every Day. Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross for me and giving me a second chance! What are you thankful for?
